We are delighted to welcome Swansea Building Society to the MV Community, taking our mutual customers to 23, meaning we now provide solutions to over 50% of the Building Society market. Swansea, who have 4 branches across South Wales and their Head Office in Swansea, have signed a long-term deal for Online Banking to serve their savings customers.

MV has recently developed an exciting new strategy to transform and grow the business and disrupt the market it serves by creating a Digital Platform/Ecosystem. This entails delivering a range of in-house and third-party products and technologies to its customers and their users, as well as developing a community of solution providers.

Mutual Vision (MV) are delighted to announce the appointment of a new team of independent Non-Executive Directors to the MV Board – Stephen Mitcham, Sarah Pierman, and Kevin Mountford. They will be working closely with the newly appointed Executive Directors to implement MV’s unique and disruptive new business strategy to become the Digital Mutual, positioning MV as the natural provider of the digital platform and ecosystem for the sector.

Having worked previously on internal IT projects for a large retail and commercial bank with a mutual ethos, the excitement of joining a company with a similar ethos within the FinTech sector was a big pull. The opportunity to manage both internal and external implementation projects, and to work directly with client project teams, made joining MV an exciting decision. Since starting in February 2019, I’ve been part of the company’s significant growth and transformation.

To say it’s been a challenging few months for banks and building societies would be an understatement, but despite the adverse circumstances, we’ve been incredibly proud to see our clients adapt to their customers’ needs and respond quickly to a rapidly changing landscape.
