A time to reflect: 2020 is certainly shaping up to be a very eventful year – and not just for MV! We started the year at pace but quickly had to pivot when the first lockdown took hold. We switched emphasis from some of our longer-term initiatives such as expanding our shareholder base to focus on supporting our customer community in transitioning to remote working and accommodating the rapidly changing financial landscape.

Mutual Vision are proud to announce our sponsorship of a new research project by Whitecap Consulting: The report, to be published in March 2021, is set to deliver meaningful insights to support the future prosperity of the building society sector. Working in partnership with the BSA, the emphasis will be on how the sector can differentiate itself in the future and the impact mutuality could have.

Data analytics has progressed significantly beyond simply business reporting. In data analytics, there are four types of queries: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive. Each type offers increasing value and complexity, helping businesses not only understand what has happened but also predict and prescribe future actions.
