Swansea Building Society adopt MV’s digital solutions

We are delighted to welcome Swansea Building Society to the MV Community taking our mutual customers to 23 meaning we now provide solutions to over 50% of the Building Society market. Swansea who have 4 branches across South Wales and their Head Office in Swansea, have signed a long term deal for Online Banking to serve their savings customers.

Speaking about the recent addition to their list of clients. Andy Atkinson, Business Development Director said: “This is a great time for Swansea to join the MV Community as we have so many exciting developments; both with our products and our strategy. On a personal level, Swansea was one of the first societies I visited since joining MV, so to see them come onboard is something I was proud to be a big part of”.

The implementation of Online Banking took just 3 months to complete with Swansea being able to launch the new service during the Coronavirus Pandemic. The implementation will see Swansea enhance their customer experience levels by providing them with a simple and secure way to manage their accounts and opening up additional communication routes during difficult times. Moving forward, there are plans to use the Online Banking platform to allow customers to apply for products online.

Speaking on behalf of Swansea Building Society, Alun Williams CEO said: “The system is secure and uses a two-step sign in process, giving another safe option to manage accounts. Whether our customers are at home or on the go, Swansea Online will allow members access to their accounts whenever they need it and in a way that’s easiest for them.”
