At Mutual Vision, our staff are at the heart of our business, and are committed to delivering an excellent service to our MV community of customers and partners.

We are proud to provide our team members with the tools and opportunities they need to progress their career with Mutual Vision, which is why we’d like to introduce you to our newest Service Delivery Lead, Charlotte Cannon.

Hi Charlotte, tell us us a bit about yourself, where do you come from and why did you join the team at Mutual Vision?

I live in Sheffield, and prior to moving to Mutual Vision, I worked for almost 5 years for a FinTech on their service desk, spending most of my time there as Service Desk Team leader, and prior to that I provided technical support in a call centre environment fixing Broadband issues.

I was drawn to Mutual Vision because I wanted to a new challenge, and I see MV as a workplace which will allow me to learn and develop my career into the long-term. MV have a great company ethos and I like that we are a m+utually owned company.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the MV team?

MV has a great team of people, I was a little nervous to move jobs mid-pandemic, but I was pleasantly surprised and was made to feel welcome right away. Not only do I have great colleagues, but we also have some great customers, who I enjoy speaking with. On top of all that, I am learning a lot!

What do you get up to in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy going out with friends, and going for long walks.

When I’m not doing that, I have spent a lot of time over the last year renovating my house, which has kept me busy!

I also ended up starting an Instagram account for my two cats, Buster and Eric during lock-down and they ended up becoming quite popular and are now considered “Petfluencers” so that has ended up taking up more of my free time than I initially anticipated. I take a lot of photos of my cats wearing accessories or posing with food and toys that they get sent, along with acting as a PA for their inbox! (@busterthecatto)

You recently received a promotion, congratulations! What is your new role and what are you most looking forward to in your new position?

Thank you! I started my journey at MV in Application Support in March 2021, and my new role is Service Delivery Lead – I’m really looking forward to supporting our growing team. We’ll be working a lot on knowledge transfer and I’m looking forward to bringing in fresh ideas to the business, and hopefully making some positive changes over the next 12 months.

Thank you Charlotte, we are excited to see where your journey at Mutual Vision takes you.

You can connect with Charlotte on LinkedIn here. And don’t forget to follow Buster and Eric on Instagram for cat-related content!
