Mutual Vision host Community Event

Last week was a busy one at Mutual Vision which saw us host four customer events across two days in Manchester. As always, we had a great turnout from our customers who were looking to engage and collaborate in our open forums.

Wednesday 22nd Jan, focussed on strategic engagement with CEO’s and Senior Executives across the full customer base in attendance. This was an opportunity for our CEO, Rich Wainwright to share our plans for the future and gather feedback on the strategic objectives of our customers. In addition, Shaun Smith-Taylor, our Chief Product Officer held an interactive Special Interest Group to consider planning opportunities for ProVision Digital integrations. We were rewarded that evening with the launch party for MV Professional Services, giving us the opportunity to talk in depth about this valuable new service headed up by Louise Watt.

Thursday got off to a great start with Andy Atkinson, Business Development Director, announcing that our Development Group sessions will be known as ‘MV Community Meet-up’s’ moving forward. This change reflects our ethos and move towards positioning ourselves as the Mutual Digital to the industry and a Strategic Technology Partner to our customers.

Product management and roadmap featured heavily throughout the day as did collaboration and customer engagement. It was invaluable to get immediate feedback on our plans so we can work in partnership with customers to adapt and shape what the future will look like as part of the MV Community. We were lucky enough to have some fantastic guest speakers with Rob Thickett, Digital Policy Manager from The BSA opening the day focussing on the changing digital landscape and the opportunities this presents the sector. Andy Hudders, Director at Whistlebrook discussed their integration options and the benefits these can offer in overcoming every day back office challenges.

As well as engagement and collaboration, the events enabled us to introduce the new members of our burgeoning team to our customers and facilitated some valuable face time to address specific needs and queries.

The MV Community Meet Up’s are scheduled every six months and are viewed as an invaluable element of the MV calendar. We are looking forward to putting our plans in pace and reporting back in summer 2020.
