At Mutual Vision, we are proud to count over half of all UK building societies as some of our customers. Collaboration and innovation are at the core of everything we do, which is why we were excited to work with Manchester Building Society, to implement our MV Core Banking Solution. We wanted to check in with Manchester Building Society to catch up on the success of the project so far.
The Challenge
Manchester Building Society were looking for a core banking solution that closely met and exceeded their mortgage and savings management requirements. The solution had to be implemented in a timely manner and most importantly, meet and exceed the requirements of their customers.
Why Mutual Vision?
After conducting an initial discovery phase, Manchester Building Society identified that Mutual Vision’s MV Core Banking solution would be a good match for their current requirements. Our expertise, and knowledge on the Building Society sector provided them with assurance that the solution would not only meet their objectives but also that we were able to work closely with them going forward to ensure a successful implementation. Working closely with MBS during this time allowed them to gain a positive insight on not only how we could meet their objectives but also what a future working relationship would look like for the implementation.
How has the implementation been received?
The implementation project is on-going but has been well received by the Society so far. The completion of the fact find, training and data migration phases have broadly been in line with projected timescales and budget. Although challenges were to be expected, those initial phases provided a good base for us to start from and we are currently still working on the project with implementation due 30th September 2022.
What was the working relationship like with Mutual Vision?
The Society has found Mutual Vision to be an open and collaborative working partner. Identified issues have been resolved with good awareness and understanding of the Society’s business requirements. Both parties have been, and continue to be, regularly engaged throughout the implementation project and across all levels.
