Operations Director joins MV
Mutual Vision welcomes Neil Foley, Operations Director who joined us in February. Neil’s focus will be on improvement and best practice within the operations team. In his new role Neil will oversee the delivery of all projects, technical services, service management, customer account management and the delivery and development of professional services.
Neil brings with him a wealth of talent cultivated over the last 22 years working solely in software development companies. He has extensive experience in product management, requirements analysis, Agile methodologies, IT strategy, and team building. Throughout his career Neil has worked across all stages of the software development lifecycle – helpdesk, testing, development, business analysis, project management, product management and senior management. For the last 10 years he has worked in senior roles with full management responsibility for the product, the people and the processes.
Speaking about the role, Neil said: “I am really excited to have joined Mutual Vision. We have some great software and a team of people who truly do care about their customers and the products and services they provide. I’m looking forward to working with the entire team to improve the quality of the software we deliver, with a ‘right first time’ mentality and to put the processes in place to ensure that we do deliver when we say we can”.
Commenting on the new hire, Rich Wainwright, CEO said: “Neil brings skills which will complement the leadership team here at Mutual Vision. Whilst being practical and operational, he has a commercially focussed and strategic mindset which I am sure will make him a valuable addition and help make the Mutual Vision vision become a reality”
As Operations Director, the job responsibility is wide ranging and Neil will begin his efforts leading greater operational efficiency in line with the organisation’s strategic objectives. Culture is key to the leadership team at Mutual Vision and one of the first tasks Neil will undertake is helping lead the 1MV initiative which will present one face of Mutual Vision both internally and externally. Speaking on the initiative Neil said: “As well as ensuring the effective delivery of projects, over the coming months I will be implementing a framework for process and technology improvement whilst driving the adoption of the Agile methodology. It’s set to be a busy yet exciting time at Mutual Vision.”
