Latest innovations and a celebration of mutuality

With a dedicated Digital Mutual programme running throughout the BSA Conference 2019, Mutual Vision’s presence at the conference this year is especially fitting. The event, which takes place over 23rd and 24th May, is the must attend event in the mutual calendar for organisations who support building societies in gaining a real and sustainable advantage in today’s fast-moving competitive world.

As always there is a great line up of speakers and topics in the extensive two-day schedule helping the Mutual sector to take advantage the big ideas and trends in financial technology.

For the 2019 conference, as well as having our latest innovations available for view, we are focussing on celebrating our close alignment with the Mutual sector through shared values and our unique ownership structure with our 1MV initiative.

Speaking about the 1MV initiative, CEO Rich Wainwright said: “Not only do we live and breathe the same values as the sector, we are wholly owned by our customers and as such are 100% focussed on the sector. We re-invest all our profits for the sole benefit of our customers rather than for external shareholders. A concept that mirrors that of the mutual world.”

He continues, “All of the innovative new products we have created over recent years have been developed in close collaboration with our customers and many have even been “crowd-funded” by the societies we support. We are currently having some great conversations about future collaborations and the future at MV is exciting”

We fundamentally believe that technology will play an increasingly important role in ensuring that building societies remain relevant in the future, not only to survive but thrive through the innovative application of technology enabled services. This year’s conference will act as a platform to position MV as a strategic technology partner, developing and sourcing third party technology-based solutions that can add value to societies and their members for years to come.

Come and visit us on stand 47 to find out more about the 1MV initiative and how we can help accelerate the performance of your society.
