Building Society sector take over at MFG awards

Witnessing the resounding success for the Building Society sector at the recent Mortgage Finance Gazette was a fabulous sight to behold. Although, if we are honest, we were not surprised to see the sector dominating the winners podium.

You only have to look at the range of innovative mortgage products that Building Societies offer in relation to the vanilla offerings of the larger banks to see that the drive and passion is prevalent by all those who work in the sector. The sector differentiates themselves by forging intimate relationships with their Members and providing tailored, niche products to meet their specific requirements, all the while making the community they serve top priority. The mutual ethos and unwavering commitment to a value driven ethical business approach will be a theme that will resonate with any judging panel for years to come.

With 9 category winners and 15 highly commended placings across 13 categories, we would like to congratulate the whole sector for such an amazing achievement and are delighted to see our customers get the recognition they deserve.

Special mentions go to

  • Darlington Building Society winner of Mortgage Product Innovation and highly commended in Corporate – Social Responsibility – Lenders
  • Ecology Building Society winner of Best Self Build Lender
  • Family Building Society highly commended in Best Use of Technology – Lenders
  • Earl Shilton Building Society winner of Community Services – Lenders
  • The Hanley Economic Building Society winner of Best Local Building Society

A special congratulations goes to Stephen Mitcham The Cambridge Building Society for his Lifetime Achievement award. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Mortgage Finance Gazette for hosting such a fantastic event where the sector can celebrate their achievements.

We have a close alignment with the values and ethics of the sector and an enduring commitment to the growth and development of highly relevant products and services. We support and collaborate with our customers as their Strategic Technology Partner, sourcing and integrating complementary third-party products and technologies to create a Digital Ecosystem for the sector.
